From left: Justice Harry Low, former Justice of the California Court of Appeals and Insurance Commissioner of California, member of the Board of Directors of the Phillip and Sala Burton Center for Human Rights. Justice Low worked with Phillip and Sala to create the Chinese-American Democratic Club in San Francisco; John Rizzo, Chair of the San Francisco Bay Chapter of the Sierra Club and Treasurer of the Phillip and Sala Burton Center for Human Rights; Vickie Hoover (taking photo) winner of the Sierra Club's John Muir Award, the highest honor that the Club bestows on its members. Vickie is special assistant to Edgar Wayburn (not shown in photo) who while serving as President of the Sierra Club worked with Phillip and Sala to create the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, expand the Redwood State Park.
